With four new videos of the upcoming game "Call of Duty; Modern Warfare 3" floating around the Internet and the game being officially announced on the 12th of may, it's become increasingly clear that Infinity Ward have taken the advice of Kate and Gerry McCann and continued to milk something that makes them a lot of money.
There are four teaser videos currently released; America, France, Germany and England. All these teasers seem to be sharing one recurrent theme, explosions, a lot of explosions.
With all the missiles and various cities exploding it's left me worried that MW3 will feel like the plot was written by a 14 year old kid rather than the in-depth interesting stories the previous games displayed, as the currently released videos at the minute seem a little too "over the top", i just hope the action displayed is not compensation for bad storyline and/or game play.
Another fear of mine is that Infinity Ward once again use the same old engine with the same old graphics and game-play hence falling behind with competition, but maybe I'll be proven wrong. Nonetheless, i am very excited for this game and i hope to be seeing more zombies.
My overall prediction for MW3 is that it will be indeed a very fun Call of Duty game that will keep most of us entertained for a lot of months on end, but do i think it will be the best first person shooter of the year? Maybe not. But there's too little information released about this game at the moment to say for sure.
